Field Trip Sponsorships

It’s proven that students experiences with fresh foods break down “tasting barriers” for young children, and Crabtree Farms wants to make these experiences a possibility for inner-city students in Chattanooga.  Farm-to-School field trips to Crabtree farms provide a fun way for children to learn about fresh food and agriculture, as well as science, math and nutrition.  When students taste and explore fresh fruits and vegetables growing from the ground, it can help break down barriers to these healthy foods their bodies need.

To help inner city children in the Chattanooga area receive a Farm-to-School field trip at Crabtree, we need YOUR help!

Greenlife Grocery’s 2010 Sponsorship

Greenlife Grocery, in Chattanooga sponsored 300 kids during 2010. Thanks to Greenlife,  kids from our neediest area schools were able to visit our farm and make contact with REAL fresh food and DIRT!  There are still thousands of students in our community that would benefit tremendously from connecting with farm fresh food.  YOU CAN HELP just like Greenlife!
