TasteBuds Farm Tour

Farm tour Logo with date

The TasteBuds Local Food Guide will come to life during the
3rd Annual TasteBuds Farm Tour!

A $20 car pass allows you to pile in your pals and kids for a self-paced road trip adventure during the weekend of September 19 & 20 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fun for all ages, the Farm Tour is your chance to meet the local farmers you’ve read about in the guide.

While at each farm, you’ll experience a 30-minute to 1-hour guided tour by your host farmer, learn about where your food is grown, and even see a few farm animals. Their farm stands will be open, so come prepared to stock up on fresh, locally-grown products.

The car pass is good for both days of the farm tour, which lets you visit as many of the participating farms as you can handle! Click here to purchase your Farm Tour car pass!

New this year! Want someone else to set the pace for you? Then join us on our guided caravan tours. Different routes will be offered each day, which will be determined soon. Stay tuned!

TasteBuds, now in its 6th year of production, is our regional guide for finding local foods, grown and crafted within 100 miles of Chattanooga. It highlights the area farms, farmers’ markets, food artisans, community gardens, restaurants and grocers that offer locally grown and crafted food, in an effort to promote and celebrate the distinct flavors of the Chattanooga region.

TasteBuds is created by Crabtree Farms with funding from the USDA’s Local Food Promotion Program. In an effort to keep the publication free for its readers and listed partners, proceeds from the TasteBuds Farm Tour car pass sales benefit the printing of future issues.
