About Crabtree

Crabtree Farms is a non-profit organization that promotes local agriculture. We are connecting Chattanoogans with out local foodshed through a family of programs including a demonstration urban farm. We dig in and get our hands dirty side-by-side with our community.

More than a farm, Crabtree teaches our community about local food issues. We believe that food unites, and sustainable food cultivation can change the way we see our city and our neighbors. The health of our land, our communities, and our neighbors is always in our sights, and through food we’re making a difference!
