Tours

Tours are available at Crabtree Farms to students of all ages, as well as garden clubs, civic groups and other interested parties. Tours are a great opportunity to see urban farming up close while learning about sustainable flower and vegetable production.

Tours can be tailored to meet the interest of the group, for example an ecology class could learn how to propagate seeds in the greenhouse.

Details

Tours of Crabtree Farms are a One-Hour, walkin’ talkin’ view of a working community farm.  You will learn about urban sustainable agriculture and community programs as you walk among the beautiful fields of Crabtree Farms.   Tours are $4 per person for groups 10 and larger. For groups smaller than 10 participants, minimum fees may apply. Contact Crabtree Farms today to arrange a tour for your group.

Crabtree has outdoor space available for lunch. Restroom and kitchen facilities are available as well.

To schedule a tour:

1.) Download the Tour & Field Trip Registration Form 2011

2.) Email the completed registration form or fax it in to 423-624-7439

3.) Crabtree Farms will contact you when we have received your request to schedule a time and date.

4.) Send in your payment to P.O. Box 2250, Chattanooga TN 37409 or Credit Card can be  accepted by phone.
