While winter continues to bring many overcast days with variable weather, we here at Crabtree are already looking towards consistently warmer times. Kiddos will soon be rolling off of school buses for field trips here at the farm. Little eyes will drink in the greenery around them and excitedly chatter about what adventures a morning spent on the farm might bring.
As we gear up for the 2019 field trip season, we are putting out a call for volunteers. Classes of Pre-K through 3rd graders will be coming to us starting in March, and we would love to have new and returning volunteers join us for these joyous mornings.
Being an education volunteer might seem daunting to some, but have no fear. The students are a pleasure, and our Education Coordinator will provide you with everything you need to know to make volunteering during a field trip fun, educational, and stress free.
