Get Involved

Crabtree Farms is more than just a farm; it’s a community. We invite you to join us on this incredible journey towards a more sustainable, connected, and healthier future. Whether you’re a volunteer, supporter, or simply someone who appreciates fresh, locally grown food, there’s a place for you at Crabtree Farms.

Workshare

Workshare volunteers commit to seasonal sessions (approx. 3 months long) and have a scheduled 3 or 5 hour work day each week — in exchange for a biweekly produce box. If interested in applying for our Workshare program, feel free to fill out the “Volunteer” form, or you can contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Chloe Dente, at cdente@crabtreefarms.org or 423-493-9155.

Volunteer

Get Your Hands Dirty

Volunteers learn about sustainable agriculture through hands-on experiences. Volunteering is a great activity for individuals, groups, or families. We always need extra hands on the farm for a variety of projects. Contact cdente@crabtreefarms.org or 423.493.9155 for more information or sign up for our current volunteer opportunities here:

Internships

Crabtree Farms offers internships during the spring, summer, and fall. Internships are an excellent way to gain real world experience in agriculture and non-profit communication. We can tailor an internship focus to meet the needs and interests of the intern or school, and for students, college credit can be available. Call 423-493-9155 for more information.
