Monarch Magic: How to Support Butterflies in Your Backyard

August 29
9:30 am
- 11:30 am
$30

About the Class

Discover simple ways to support Monarch butterflies right in your own backyard. In this engaging workshop, we will explore the Monarch butterfly’s incredible life cycle, migration, conservation challenges, and the important role native plants play in supporting Monarchs and other pollinators.

Participants will also build their own puddling station to take home. Puddling stations provide butterflies with a safe place to gather moisture and essential minerals they cannot obtain from nectar alone, while also providing bees with a shallow source of water. Using natural materials, you will create a beautiful and functional addition to your garden that supports pollinators throughout the growing season.

You will leave with practical knowledge about supporting Monarchs, ideas for creating pollinator-friendly habitat, and your very own puddling station ready to enjoy at home.

This workshop is ideal for gardeners, native plant enthusiasts, and anyone interested in helping Monarch butterflies and other pollinators thrive.
