Green Onion Dip

Is there a spring party in your future? This quick and easy recipe for green onion dip will make preparing for a gathering a breeze! This simple recipe is not only fast to throw together, but it can be modified to accommodate your favorite herb combination. The wild chives that pop up at the farm (and perhaps in your own back yard- forage away) makes a lovely addition to this dip.

Ready In: 2.25 hours
  • 8 oz of softened cream cheese
  • 1 c of sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 c of finely diced green onions
  • 1/2 c diced parsley or another mild leafy herb of your choice
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. In a food processor, pulse together the cream cheese and sour cream (or yogurt) until well combined.
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients, taste, and adjust salt and pepper to suit your tastes.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
