As CSA boxes and market bags fill with more lettuces, we want to share some simple yet tasty vinegar based dressings to top these delightfully crunchy leaves. While extra virgin olive oil whisked with your favorite vinegar and a dash of salt and pepper makes for a fantastic and quick dressing all on their own, the addition of some simple ingredients adds a more robust flavor profile at a fraction of the cost of store-bought salad dressings. An added bonus is the knowledge that you’re feeding your guests and family tasty vinaigrette options made without the preservatives found in many store bought versions.
